Company Profile

What Do We Do?
We are a not-for-profit organisation with very strong environmental and social aims. The aim of IT Asset Disposal Ltd is to be a socially responsible and commercially vibrant enterprise. It is also our aim to deliver a low environmental impact and a high quality of service to all of our stakeholders. Originally established in 2008, IT Asset Disposal Ltd has continued to upgrade its certification with the Environment Agency, currently meeting the criteria for T11 and strives to be a beacon of good practice and inspiration for other organisations.
Our primary focus within the company is to provide a supportive work environment for our staff and through our work with our partner agencies we provide work placement and employment opportunities for local people with disabilities. Wherever possible we aim to place disabled and long term unemployed individuals into our close knit team. Over 75% of our employees would have been classed as disabled under the Disability Discrimination Act.
Through our own experiences, we have created a unique training and work preparation programme in conjunction with the Shaw Trust and W.I.S.E. (Welsh Initiative for Supported Employment). We recently won the Shaw Trust national award for Equality and Diversity in recognition of our achievements.
I.T. Asset Disposal Ltd has appeared on ITV Wales due to regional interest in our supported working environment for those who have had difficulty obtaining work and supplying computers to the local community (see video below).
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive came into force in 2007 to both reduce the amount of WEEE being produced and encourage everyone to re-use, recycle and recover it.
I.T Asset Disposal provides a leading computer re-use and end of life recycling service; providing state of the art data wiping that exceeds Ministry of Defence Standards, we can also provide CESG Infosec 5 software and degauss cleansing, along with physical hard drive destruction. Our simple duty of care system and designated facilitator will fulfill your requirements under the Data Protection Act (1998) and we will do our best to ensure you are compliant above and beyond Environment Agency requirements.
We promote our zero landfill policy of end of life computer and I.T. equipment and willingly collect all electronic and electrical equipment from a number of Universities, Colleges, Schools, Charities, Government departments and Businesses throughout Wales, South West, Midlands and the rest of the United Kingdom.
